RealVNC is a free and an alternative such as Remote Desktop Connection to Microsoft, the software enables remote work on another computer connected to the network.
The program includes two RealVNC VNC Server - to create the image and its transmission, and VNC Viewer - to receive the message. Work on another computer is quite comfortable and the transmitted image (despite the reduced number of colors in order to speed up the display) is sufficient. Incidental feature of the program is the possibility of viewing the desktop to another computer.
The program, unfortunately, has limited functionality compared to commercial solutions.
